FOOD SAFETY POLICY STATEMENTThe Management of the Brynafon Country House Hotel Limited believes in providing its Customers with service and food products of the highest quality. The Company accepts its legal duty to comply with the Food Safety Act 1990 and all subordinate legislation. It recognises that food production areas must be maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and food handled to ensure it does not become contaminated during its delivery, storage, preparation, service and distribution. It will apply the standards in law recommended by the ‘Industry Guide to Catering’. It further recognises the need for effective temperature control of all foods likely to support the growth of micro-organisms. The emphasis is on management control of food safety which has produced this Policy statement following an analysis of food safety hazards throughout the Company. The aim of the Policy is to reduce the risks of food contamination by implementing the control measures contained within. Staff are required to abide by this Policy and all procedures, Codes of Practice, etc. laid down by management. The company expects that they will make every effort to maintain all written procedures. The company expects all suppliers to also have such a philosophy.
