We are delighted to be licensed at The Brynafon Country House Hotel to hold Civil Marriage Ceremonies and would be happy to discuss with you the arrangements for your Wedding Day.

Points to Consider

• A Civil Marriage is a Public Ceremony and it is a legal requirement that any member of the public who wishes to attend the marriage may do so.
• The bride and groom must agree the content of the Ceremony with the Superintendent Registrar in advance. Any music, reading, words or performance forming any part of the Ceremony must be secular.
• Music may be allowed in the Marriage Room (at the discretion of the hotel and with the Superintendent Registrar's consent). The hotel would be pleased to help arrange live music such as a string quartet or harpist if desired.

We can provide a wide range of differing buffet menus although we often recommend a light buffet in the evening based on a selection of welsh cheeses, fresh fruit, French bread and home-cured ham.

Hotel Accommodation

We will provide free of charge one of our four-poster suites for your use on the Wedding night for wedding parties over thirty.

Our standard cancellation policy applies to all rooms.

Capacity
We are a medium sized hotel and we can cater groups as small as 4 to a maximum capacity of 70. With the hire of an integral marquee we can cater for 70 to a maximum 200. Accommodation capacity within the Hotel is based on 20 rooms.
